New Comments + Tell Me What to Write

I have words this week but you wouldn’t want to read them, filtered as they are through a brain that’s been a week without food. (I've begun total war on the post-Lyme gut dysbiosis. It’ll be at least two weeks, and maybe three, before I have anything solid.) So this is as good a time as any for a small announcement and open thread.

We’ve a new comments section! I had been using a nifty forum system, but this required sign-ups. The new system is even more lightweight on the browser and allows for anonymous comments. We’ll leave those on for now. You can also sign in through your platform of choice; this is recommended.

That new functionality prompts the following phrase, which one would only hear in the world of online writing: tell me what to write! Give me a book to read, an argument to consider (esp. one with which I’m likely to disagree), a film to review, and so on. Share your interests. I'm curious.

Anyway, now’s your chance to have someone 1) do a thing you’d rather not do or 2) do a thing about a thing you hate or love. Prizes awarded to the most evocative suggestions.
